【Abstract】 Vietnamese have a faith in Buddhism in general and the concept of cause and effect of Buddhism has impacted Vietnamese civilian lives greatly, which has become the dominant ideology of Vietnamese typical folk tales and the corner stone of national morality. It also has brought the educational values of doing-good for the Vietnamese people.How does the concept of cause and effect of Buddhism influence Vietnamese typical folk stories and the civilian lives? Can the concept of cause and effect of Buddhism be integrated into the education and moralization of the whole society and create better-quality and results of ideological and moral education? Those above-mentioned questions are going to be the research theme of my dissertation.Through analysis of the influence of the Vietnamese cause and effect concept of Buddhism on the five typical folk tales and civilian lives, I, the writer note that it is one of the most urgent tasks for Vietnamese government and social organizations as well as educational circles to popularize this idea of Karma among the vast masses and teenage students so that they can be enriched by the Buddhism culture and guided to know the essence of Karma rules. This also can make them feel the dialectical relationship of the Cause-Effect in the real lives and render them shun the evils and do good.The aspirations of doing good will contribute a lot to harmonizing the hearts, stabilizing the society, protecting the national environment and preserving the traditional cultures and heritage.
